The oat husk is composed of the outer covering of the grain and is the by-product of the dehulling process to obtain the oat grain. Its composition presents a certain variability in function mainly of the amount of endosperm that remains adhered to the husk, this supposes changes, especially in the content of starch in the case of the oat husk.
